My Dear Past Year

This is a reflection on this year and a poem about looking forward to the new year:)

Oh past year
Now you to sleep
So much happened
Before the new year arrived

May experiences we had
To behold in our two hands
So much happened in
The trials we had

Oh past year
It's time to
Say goodbye
No wonder
You are so sad
I know we missed a lot
Under the trees were we
Used to sing and dance

But dance we shall
As the new year approaches
New memories to share
New worries and fears
But good will come also
New happiness and joy


Don't miss me past year
You will never be forgotten
As I dream out my life ahead
I will look back on you
Oh wonderful year

You were so wonderful
You have brought upon us many presents
But you also brought many defeats
From which we learn

With you
I have a lot of friends now
On this wonderful website
You will never be forgotten old year
You'll in our hearts
like the rest of the past year
And with the presents and friends
We will receive new year
With hope and joy
To start all over again
In our great adventure

A year never ends
When it finishes
You know it's time
To sail on a new adventure
On the new year
That is brought upon us
