Not A Good First ImpressionA Chapter by Taylor M.The first time the Winchesters meet Helstiel, she is a fierce warrior of heaven. Castiel knows that she's powerful, and particularly obeys all of God's commands. It seems strange, though. The first time that the Winchesters meet Helstiel, they get a bit of a heads up from Castiel. Sam and Dean were in the latest motel. Sam was researching for their next case, because they had recently dis-membered a werewolf, Dean was blasting ACDC and talking to Sam, distracting the other man from his work. There was a flap of wings, and both men looked up. "Hello, Dean." Castiel said, nodding to the older brother. Sam rolled his eyes silently, he was almost always the third wheel. "Hey Cas." Dean replied simply. He turned the music down and cast a questioning look in Castiel's direction. The Angel seemed nervous. "There's another Angel coming." Castiel voiced quickly, more in answer to Dean's looks than his words, and both Winchester's heads jerked up. "What?" Sam asked. Neither Sam nor Dean were really in the mood to meet another Angel. "Helstiel." Castiel said, as if it explained everything. "Who?" Dean asked the question this time. "She is an Angel of the Lord. A warrior." Castiel rushes, "We need to be prepared." Both brothers nod and reach for their respective duffel bags, pulling out Angel blades. Castiel is about to zap them somewhere safer when the room floods with light. Not a bright, artificial light, but more like a strong glow. Like the sun itself. Energy was still crackling around them when the figure of a woman came into view. She was slightly shorter than Castiel, with short ebony hair and green eyes. Red lips were pursed into a tight frown, and the first thing that Sam notices was the armor. There were layers of it, thick and black with yellow details and carvings. The armor was made out of some unrecognizable metal, and the wearer seemed un-affected by the weight. "Hello, Helstiel." Castiel greeted. His voice seemed nonchalant, but there was an icy coldness resting underneath. "Greetings. I assume that you are Castiel, but you are long forgotten." Helstiel said in a matter-of-fact tone, the light behind her fading. "And these must be the Winchester brothers." Helstiel adds, turning to face Sam and Dean. "I am your warning. Things are changing in Heaven. We have decided not to kill you both, but we will warn you to stay out of our affairs." © 2013 Taylor M.Author's Note
