The sweetness of life

The sweetness of life

A Poem by Andria Peterson

Clinging to my screen door
stood a fuzzy, non-buzzy body
with yellow and black stripes,
a maker of honey.

Although, it's evening;
not a ray of light.
Most would say it's strange,
but not me, on this ordinary night.

A divine messenger
navigating between two realms
sent to bring guidance
on hard work and abundance.

A reminder to stop and smell the flowers -
a lovely sweet scent,
to trust your intuition
and appreciate each moment.

Enjoy the sweetness of life
wherever it takes you.
Abundance is waiting,
so welcome in the new.

Without bees the world would fade.. Your beautifully expressed poem is a real tribute to,

'a fuzzy, non-buzzy body
with black and yellow stripes,
a maker of honey.'

Many thanks for sharing your wise and welcome words, Chixo. :)

My pleasure, am a great lover of bees!

Life would or could be minimal without those .. read more
This one is a nice reminder of the lessons nature can teach us. Many would look at the bee and see only a bug, but the speaker here interprets it as a divine messenger ready to impart knowledge. Verses four and five are especially enlightening.
