Teenage Days

Teenage Days

A Poem by Crazy Cat Man
"

A poem inspired by the teeny boppers on this website and it reminded me of my own teenage years.

"
My teenage days suck
I was always stuck
In the same place
Everyone else was all up in my face
I hated going to school
Everyone acted like a fool
I had no one to talk to
I had little friends
I wondered when does this s**t end
I couldn't pretend
To be a joyful teen
When everyone was mean
The teachers didn't care
I had no one to share
My messed up problems
All the girls wanted the bad boys
So I was left alone
Some girls showed some interest
But I was too shy then
I hated my teenage days
So I began to pray
For my life to end some day
That day didn't come
Instead I got older
Now I have Student loans to pay
But my mind is in a much better place
So teenagers please wait
Even though life sucks for now
It will get better some day

Good to know I wasn't the only that didn't think my teenage years were the 'best of my life'. :) Great job!
