In Love With A Ghost

A poem about still being in love with someone from the past whom you cannot let go

You're In Love With a Ghost
To Someone who's not there anymore
She's not a part of your life
She's someone else's wife
But she stays on your mind
Now you're full of strife
You're asking yourself why
She is not by your side
Someone else is in her insides
So now you cry
And you want to die
But you should say bye bye
To that ghost in your mind
Remember she doesn't exist anymore
She's now only in your imagination
Now begins your spiritual emancipation

I like this read, I agree playful, but emotional. There is hurt and I think many of us have felt this on some level at some point in our lives. The flow goes with the rhymes. I like the idea that he is wondering, yet he should know the answer, to his own emotional distress.

I believe everyone has lived that situation before so it's easily to relate to,
technically speaking you set up a wonderful flow and even some rhymes hidden somewhere in the poem, the metrica is great, i can see you worked on it very much !

A very nice and well worded message.
I feel as a poem though it looses its flow when you begin to think forward, as if the second half of the poem is more a person's thoughts while the first half is rythmic and flows very well.
