I Love The Police

A strange poem with a twist :P

I Love The Police
They Make me feel peace
When I walk in the streets
Those thugs over there
they look so mean
WHen I see the police
I feel some relief

Why is your friend in jail?
He got himself there
Don't blame the popo
You were the one who robbed the sto
You did the crime
So you deserve the time

The Police is great
They make me feel safe
When I get home very late
Those thugs over there
They are staring at me
But with my friends the Police
They will know not to creep

Unfortunately
Once in awhile
The Police with profile
Minorities who look suspicious
They will shoot with no conscious
I'm just taking out my wallet
No need to fill me with bullets

And now I'm dead
I'm sorry for having dreads
Damn if I was white
You wouldn't have to shoot me twice
You would have asked "sir are you alright?"
Instead of shooting me till I died
But that's ok I still love you Police
Even though I rest in peace

Very amusing. I like how you wrote this. To serve and protect my a*s; the police serves bullets and protect themselves. That's how I feel about them. But this was a good read.
