Letter To Keira Knightley

Letter To Keira Knightley

A Poem by Crazy Cat Man

Keira Knightley and Nicole Richie
Used to be nice and plumpy
and now they're both skinny and skrawny

Mary Kate and Ashley Olson
Used to be so wholesome
and now the wind can blow them

What is happening to today's world?
When every child want's to be a skinny girl?
They eat a lil food then want to hurl

Little girls look up to their stars
They want to be skinny just as they are
So they refuse to eat then starve

I had a girl that thought she was too fat
but her small blubber was fun to grab
but she didn't want to hear that

Spain made their models to gain some weight
To join the catwalk the girls have to eat cake
A whole chicken they just ate

If Marilyn Monroe was alive
she would not be a model
They will tell her to go away and not even bother

Too many girls want to be super thin
I don't want to make love to a stick
So each girl must look from within

Is your beauty worth dying for?
You are starting to look like Skelator
I hope you start eating some more

So this is my letter to Keira Knightley
I am asking very politely
My hopes on her gaining weight is unlikely

She is now just skin and bones
What is wrong with her skin tone?
She looks like a ghost

I mean what is wrong this?
She looked like she came from the abyss
Oh the old her how much I miss

This is great poem on a subject that not to many people touch on. It's such a tough thing for many girls, and it's sad to see so many young celebrities influencing other young girls to starve themselves as well. This was poem was simple and easy to read, with even a touch of irony and humor, which I think works well. It is such a dark subject... the humor brightens it up a bit and makes it easier for people to understand the truth about it. Thanks for writing this, it is refreshing to hear a male's perspective on the subject. (I don't know why I'm assuming you're a man, but I can't really tell since your name is "Notorious Reviewer", so if I'm wrong, I'm sorry and please correct me :D).

Whether too skinny or not, Keira Knightley is such an annoying smug little Miss Happy and innocent. She'd be fine a little plumper though and a little less omnipresent. And if she didn't smile so much and pretend to be a little schoolgirl and if she didn't speak at all - then I'd miss her if she got out of my bed. Otherwise not.
This is a terribly funny poem though. Great fun and right on.

Absolutely lovely piece here with such a strong message. I blame the media for a lot of societies ills.

That's true, but that's to fair resort I mean playing all the sports I do I have to eat and I'm not big I'm not small I weigh what I should I'm short and well you know I'm average that's a far resort to make yourself puke I like this. There is more than one look and sometimes loosing wieght is to better ones self other times it's just sick. Nice job!

In a way this is kind of funny, lol. But yeah its horrible how some girls are. There is a lot of woman I see that are just too skinny, they need to eat. Nice write.

I completely agree with what you wrote here. It's pathetic! Not every girl was born to be a size 0...thanks for sharing:)

listen Keira Knightley is beautiful and you just can't argue that. We all have are problems so its funny you're bashing her for it and although i do agree that weight is very serious issue, its like smoking we know the effects of it but we choose to do it anyway. the skin color thing didn't bother me too much because im a guy and i know that guys have different prefrences so i don't want to get on that one, but really man is this for real. Put it this way, this is something many people have a relation to, "I'm more afraid of getting old and looking old and not youthful, instead of dying".
