jajaja. I wrote this for fun. :)

No pay but plenty of experience
I'd rather go to a seance
Don't you see that it is great
to work for free
Internships the new slavery indeed
Months of grunting and grinding
for a sandwich and a half
Everyday is the same
My bosses jokes are lame
I'm dying slowly on the inside
I have lost my pride
I wish I was dead
I can't even pay the rent

I can't laugh at my stupid boss' jokes anymore
This job is a bore
I became an Intern w***e
This is what I get
for being desperate and accept
any bullshit that came my way
I should've said nay
But now I have to stay
I can't even get laid
When I tell a girl that I work with no pay
That's it. Watch out. My time is running out
If I don't get paid soon
I'm gonna come to the office
and you'll hear a very loud BOOM!!!!!

Very humorous, I liked that phrase 'I became and intern w***e'. Liked the way you wrote it too, think it sums the whole thing up :)

I can imagine how hard it must be to be working for the sake of working only and not getting the monthly pay...the 'i wish i was dead' tells a lot - the boredom, the fact that you cannot pay for the rent, the insignificant jokes of your boss (which unfortunately you have to bear) ... and on top of that you must keep on working.
The second stanza is quite funny. It's the opposite of the first stanza...in the second, you've come out of your sleep and now want to get what you really deserve

This is funny in the way that it is put. Slavery work w***e that can't afford life. That is how internship can be and it is hard to get anywhere when you feel like your getting no where at all. That sandwich part is good though . Aggression from feeling unappreciated so very common.
