Girls With Boyfriends

I'm sick of girls who already have boyfriends
i wasted a lot of time talking to them
If they had a boyfriend why didn't they say it?
Instead of leading me on with fake flirts

Why is it when I'm single I meet girls who are taken
Or when I'm taken, I meet girls who want to mingle?
These girls with boyfriends just like to linger
Makes me want to show them the finger

Being single for long surely does suck
These taken girls are pushing my luck
I feel totally and utterly stuck
I'm becoming angrier than Daffy Duck!

So if you're taken leave me alone
Just give me the number to your friend's cellphone
If she's married then i'll leave
if she has a fiance then i'm going to a cafe
Hopefully I'll find a single girl there

Ha I like it. I wouldn't know if it's realistic or not cause I'm not a guy but I have a feeling it is. I liked hthe rhythm that you gave to the poem . ( "I feel totally and utterly stuck I'm becoming angrier than Daffy Duck!"

This was cute. The simple and staright forward manner in which it is writen really help to illustrate the writer's frustration with the dating scene. I like how youtried to rhyme the lines, but some of them seemed a little forced, like the daffy duck line. It's not the best work that I have seen from you, but it is a nice piece.
