Pretty and Damaged

Pretty and Damaged

A Poem by Crazy Cat Man
"

A poem about crazy pretty girls :)

"

She's a pretty and damaged girl

Everyone revolves around her world

She's a succubus in disguise

We believe in her lies

I thought she was in love with me

I guess it was not meant to be

She was in love with him

After she was done with me

I thought I was her savior

She wanted me to save her

She told me about her life

And how many times she cried

It made me feel sad

I wanted to be her dad

She said I was the only one

who made her feel as one

But she only wanted to have fun

Then afterwards we were done

She said the same thing to the next guy

I told him that its all lies

He cannot see the Succubus in disguise

I looked into his eyes

He's already under the spell

She gets away with it

because she's pretty as hell

She's a pretty and damaged girl

we revolve around her world

Nice pic to go w/ this. You never fail to have an eye for photos. :). I like this one. From the "damaged girl" s perspective let me say this: Yes we may be thought of as beautiful, and told we an rule the world, but sometimes, maybe just sometimes all we ever wanted was to be a child. To not be damaged. The sad part of this poem isn't the damaged girl. It is her inability to cope w/ her issues.

Great write. Excellent description and cadence in this work. I only hope you don't know this from true experience although it sounds as if you do. Great lessons to be learned here - I have seen these women at work. Thanks for sharing.

Dag this is so true. Some girls do act like that, using you until they're bored with you and then leaving.

I love how you spread morality and your ethics, you do it your style; very strong political message...the most saddest thing is... they are also...only sum of their experiences and genes.. so spoken...they try to find the best one...to stay with and perhaps wouldn't see the real loving sweet guy... but yes you wrote this in a perfect scheme and rhyme, you are a genuine poet and artist, always really inspired, your making of never overrides the the considerations of poetic art. the reviewer Catherine -doesn't have an idea when she means "sounds disturbing"; she was apparently not able to understand the depth of your words. Perhaps she will re-read- great poem.
