This lady existed? That disgusts me. I opened this originally because the title was such a pure contradiction of terms. The birth of abortion. Since aborting is killing and all; the birth of death. It's kind of a genius idea. But I didn't expect this at all. Gave me a lot to think about. How terrible the people in our world are. Another fantastic piece.
Your title isn't correct...abortions have been around since ancient times. Nothing new under the sun really. Legal, illegal, there will always be women who want to get them for whatever reasons and others who will perform them. You can go to a healthfood store and get natural ingredients to have one actually. So blaming Margaret Sanger for them is not even touching upon the big issue.
Her quote stinks, but sadly is typical of that time. Glad those times are over and that their little plan failed. :)
Powerful indeed, I was not aware of her or that statement. Thanks for sharing this with me. A terrible thing to have said and done. Glad you spoke out about it.

It's not like I disagree with the fact that what this woman did was wrong, especially after I read the quote But abortions also prevented the miserable life of poor unwanted children; so after all she wasn't all bad.
Well....I think the poem needs a little work....but the message comes through loud and clear. Poor racist biotch will be rolling over in her grave if Obama gets elected president. I did some research myself after reading this, and was not at all surprised to see the Rockefeller name being brought up (as anonymous fund-givers). That name seems to pop up quite a bit. It was a Rockefeller who let on to a film maker that "first we're going into Iraq, then Iran, and then Venezuela". (got oil?!?!?!) It's a hypocracy that this country is being run by the people with the money and not the one's who uphold the constitution and the right for ALL to be free. The whole world is going to shite if you ask me. New information only adds to my dismay. I'll quote a friends bumper sticker now: If you are not enraged - you are not paying attention. Kudos to you for paying attention, and for taking it a step further into passing on the education. Maybe if we all start to look a little closer at the things we take for granted, or stop taking things said by the media at face value, ignorance would go away. Unfortunately, I've lost faith in the masses to ever get their heads out of their arses. Me included. I could do more to help the world be a better place but instead I keep my focus on my little piece of the world, trying to save it one "moron" at a time. Under her standards, neither myself or my man would be here today. Excellent title, by the way. ; )
I have no idea who this woman was, and frankly I don't want to know. I'm just glad she's gone...shame the rest of the blind and ignorant can't join her.
A very powerful piece indeed, highlighting the need for all of us to be ever vigilant...these people are like a virus.
