SportsA Poem by Crazy Cat ManA poem on our obsession with sports
Sports blinds us all
We lose our sense of reality We want to win it all We lost our sensibility Humanity will fall It's survival of the fittest Only the biggest Can destroy all competition Young gladiators in the Roman Arena We watch Venus battle Serena A fight till the death But we don't care As long as we get our paychecks Blood will be shed Many will be dead The Cowboys Vs the Redskins Which one will win And become the new sports kings Maybe its the underdogs Who are against all odds Lebron James is the chosen one He fights for the kingdom By changing allegiance he became a villain Our athletes must do our will If they don't Then they will be killed Sports is making us lose our souls We go crazy for Soccer goals But our lives are filled with holes Sports is our identity It will be blasphemy To speak out against the Yankees Next is the NCAA Tournament Marks the beginning of Armageddon If we don't win the championship Then our lives will be oblivion © 2012 Crazy Cat ManReviews
