Who Knows

Who Knows

A Poem by CRP

It's crazy,

Isn't it?

You may think,

That lunch is just

Another lunch.

That shirt is just

Another shirt.

That,

Of course,

Is just your view.

But,

Who knows

What that person

With that object

Is thinking?

That person may think

I love this,

Mother hasn't cooked for me

In so long.

Or

They may hate it,

And don't want to eat

That disgusting, soggy, leftover food

From the week before last.

No one ever truly knows

What a person is thinking

Unless you're that person.

Even then,

Who knows?
