Hurtful words

Your words toward me are like bullets to my chest

Entering my body not being able to come out

They cant be surgically removed

Dig inside of me night and day

You can't say anything to fix it

You apologize but i can see your lies in your eyes

Saying it's all my fault when your angry

Forcing me to do all your bidding

Far to long have I've dealt with all the pain

You made  me think all your mistake were caused by my stupidity

Not thinking of what you say haunts me all night

But now I despite you 

You were a poison in my life

Killing me by seconds past

But at last I see its you

So very true my friend. People just dont seem to understand how powerful words can be. Cut like knives or bullets to our chest. We have to learn to wear our armour against it. Beautifully poignant write. :)
