A Child At DuskA Poem by CraziiDeerzWhile dusk is a time for bedtime stories and sweet dream for somes, it is a time for fear, deep thoughts, and curiousness for what's to come at dawn for others...
From this child I feel longing, I feel distress, despair, misery. Hope is brought at the sight of dusk, But soon to be vanquished all too quickly. From this child I feel happy dreams slip away, As the nightmares begin to take the place of reality. Dusk brings storms of emotions through this child, Dusk may be the only friend in their frightening world, For it is a time of peace, rest, and sleep. But this child wants nothing more Than to be home where it's safe. To be home where she no longer has to number her days. To be home. © 2011 CraziiDeerzAuthor's Note
