Nearly Nonexistent

Nearly Nonexistent

A Poem by Unforgettable1230

There was nothing left.

It was as if my happy memories had been burned,

quietly disappearing.

I didn't even realize they were gone at first.

Engulfed in the flames.

You burnt me and

all my happy memories burnt along with me.

Why couldn't the burn ever fully heal?

You left your mark

like a serial killer

signs his work.

Signing the death to my spirit.

You were proud and I was nearly nonexistent.

This really does sting. About love dying. And gone. And how the after effects. Still longer and hurt you.
