Through Your FacadeA Poem by Sherratt133A little note to a "Plastic" at my school
Now, I know that we all wear masks.
Let me see you take yours off. Now, Take a look at the past. I know you want to hate me. Now, I know what lies beneath. Under fake smiles and empty laughs. Now, I see who you really are. I know the differences in you. I see what no-one else see's.
I know what no-one else knows.
I smell the stench of deception. I hear the lies spewing from your mouth.
Now, I see inside that swirling void.
That which you call your heart. Now, I see all your fakery. I see right through your facade. I see what no-one else see's.
I know what no-one else knows.
I smell the stench of deception. I understand the emptiness of popularity. You're vying for acceptance, through fakery. Show everyone who you truly are. Take off that mask, Its not that hard. Desist in this game, Desist your facade. Now, I know what your really like. Everyone will see you for who you are. Now, I hope you'll change your ways. 'Cause your not all that bad. © 2011 Sherratt133Reviews
