The One Beneath The SeaA Poem by Sherratt133Kinda based on Thing that should not be: I like metallica; After i read Call of cthulu was inspired to do this.
The shadows cast beneath the sea,
They pray it won't be,
The creature reaches out, It lies in wait, there is no doubt.
Caverns secrets, lost in time,
Its powers are simply sublime, Druid children running free,
From hungry creature they flee. Wiseman's soul has been possessed,
Holy persons, have been blessed,
Striken with poison, Arrows lit, Kingdom of heaven soon they'll sit. There's a watcher beneath the water, You can resist its pull. Bring your daughter to the slaughter. Hell, Why not bring them all? Eye of the storm, Belly of the beast,
Five thousand men, Hardly a feast. Orphaned children, Daddies drowned.
Unmarked graves, Parents nowhere to be found. Heed this warning, those who may. The ones who are close, Do not betray. They tied him down and cast their spell,
New life unembraced, A life in hell. They deny, they hide and they cry. Destruction not in short supply. Lost parents, irreplaceable. But lives are not erasable. © 2012 Sherratt133Featured Review
