She Has Diamond Eyes

She Has Diamond Eyes

A Poem by Sherratt133

Sat in the corner,
She's all alone,
No-one to hold her,
Nowhere to call home.

Alone she clenches her wilting rose,
Memories flooding back,
The pain keeps her on her toes,
Her foundation starts to crack.

The amount of tears she cries,
With them you could make a lake,
She has diamond eyes,
But she's just way too fake.

She lays there on the floor,
The one she loves left her alone,
Can't take it anymore,
Nowhere to call home.

The misery grips her tight,
She wants it to let go,
She can no longer fight,
She just wants him to know.

He's the one who left her scarred,
He's the one,
He's the one who's calls are barred,
He's the one she loves no longer.

Whoa... Very dark and emotive, nice idea behind the poem, too. What more can I say-I really really really really really like this!

(that was a lot of 'really' o.o)
