A Year Gone and A Thousand Things Changed

A Year Gone and A Thousand Things Changed

A Poem by Crystal Poppe
"

A love lost returns from deployment today.

"
You're riding home today on a sea of my pain.
You've managed to remain dry though I'm worn and soaked to the bone.
Your voyage may be rough as the waters are still rising.
The culmination of a million tears.
