Maybury Farm

A poem about a beautiful autumn day at the farm.

It is here, amidst the red barn and the animals and the trees that I can enjoy the simplicities of life: the sun on my back, the sound of the rustling trees, and the wind in my hair, whispering sweet nothings to my soul. It is here that time slows and the day is warmed by the autumn sun, casting a lazy grin upon my face. It is here that my worries fade and a quiet calmness is assimilated into my body from the serene surroundings. It is here that excited squeals from children permeate through the crisp fall air and the musky aroma of burning wood assails my nose. It is here that my heart once again finds peace among the red barn and the animals and the beauty of the autumn trees.
