Urban TreesA Poem by Coyote SongA snap shot of urban trees.Urban summer
trees deeply green leaves flutter in the hot air car exhaust hovers invisible cloud like choking the trees live on as summer becomes fall their colors turn fiery the leaves fall caught up in huge swirls as the cars drive by the dried leaves scatter cold sets in the trees stark and bare seeming to claw against a dull white sky patient all winter still there as the season changes once again buds tight and waiting for spring © 2012 Coyote SongReviews
