Halloween Fun

What I think is fun about Halloween.

At my local store

walking up and down the aisles

bags of Halloween

trick-or-treat candy every where

scary costumes

of witches, werewolves and vampires

glare at me out of empty

eye sockets

such fun!

Goblets for human blood

held my skeletal hands

stickers of black cats and bats

pictures of people turning into monsters

decorations of ghosts

waiting to haunt your house

cutie stuffed animals

to make the kiddies happy

bloody gauze, fog machines

and talking ghoulish figures

pumpkins, skeletons rats mice and bats

spiders creeping about

scary Halloween lights

all on the shelves of

store aisles

while haunted songs play

overhead

yes, for me,

this is Halloween Fun!

This is fun, those from other countries might question it because they don't celebrate Halloween like we do in the US of A but still, they shouldn't be critical but enjoyed the poem.

Anyway, I to, enjoy looking at all the Halloween decorations this time of year. I enjoy Christmas and Easter decorations aisles in stores too. Probably don't have that in other countries either. If I read
a poem someone wrote of a celebration in their country that we here in the US of A don't celebrate I wouldn't be critical of it.

So perfect! I Love this about Halloween. I look forward to it, going up and down the aisles and looking at all the Halloween decorations. It is a fun part of the holiday without doubt.
