Fleeting Beauty

Frost on the spider's web
decorating my backyard

I marvel
in awe
at nature's magic

a spider
creepy to be sure
making something of such beauty

I snap a picture
for this strong yet delicate web
sparkling in the sun this morning
will be gone
I am sure
by tomorrow's dawn
