spring leaves fluttering
the breeze chilly
raindrops from yesterday's showers
clinging to today's unfurled
fresh new green
leaves

hear the robin's

this has a haiku feeling, but with another structure, a very well observed poem, like the enjambement, the touch of alliteration in the title, this is all very good...

Reading this, I went and stood under that tree. Got wet with the stray raindrops still spraying from the moving branches in with the wind and breeze. It was so cold, yet so exhilarating in the fresh minted air.
