My Day Has Begun

Watching dawn
this morning
fluffy clouds
fiery in nature
capturing the sun's flame
red
yellow
orange
pink
such beauty no artist can capture
my coffee revives me
as I enjoy
morning bird songs
and the call
of crows
I sip my coffee
hear the mourning doves
and watch the fiery sky
become a crystal clear
blue
my day has begun

Well Coyote, with all the colors that you describe in this poem the one that you leave out is gold which would be the color this write would glow!!! JUst describing a morning of sipping coffee would sound so boring and dull but you give this an extra caffinated Punch!!! If that is just the beginning of your day, I could only imagine the greatness in how you would describe the rest of it...Excellent stuff
