Black Birds

Black Birds

A Poem by Coyote Song

tiny black birds
twittering
outside my open window

a warm summer
afternoon breeze
drifts in
playing with my gauzy curtains

perfume from the garden flowers
coils into the room
I breathe deep
and sigh

the tiny black birds
still flutter and peep
outside my open windows

yes, summer is here
I can't be any happier
than I am right
at this moment

Gauzy curtains. I like the imagery. Natures beauty at it's best. Very nicely done here. I can just picture the summer breeze making eaverything fresh.
