Finding My Pen

Finding My Pen

A Poem by Eliza Pleasant
"

I haven't written in a while. School and laziness kept me from this. Now I'm back. Enjoy!

"
Had left my pen behind,
Verses no longer filled my head.
To think I almost had stopped.

Dreams of having that shelf to myself
Were now just that, no hope.
This spell got to me,
Having me say other people's words.

Nothing new.
Nothing exciting.
Nothing with... Me.

I'm going to find my pen.
I'm going to start anew.
And when I'm fully ready,
World ain't gonna know what hit it.
