Nightime Rhyme

Nightime Rhyme

A Poem by Eliza Pleasant
"

I wanted to write this. I don't know why. Just wanted to. Enjoy!

"

Hide.

Jump.

Slide.

Quick on your feet.

Hold your breath.

Can't miss a beat.

Look behind you.

Regret it.

Believe you're through.

Can't stop.

Don't quit.

Almost to the top.

Arms kept tight.

Round another corner.

Almost though the night.

Stitch in your side.

Barely jogging.

Find a place to hide.

Heart skips.

Notice a shadow.

Lick your lips.

At a dead end.

Turn to fight.

Waiting for Hell to descend.

This is a very great poem, also I love that last line....

I liked how intense this poem was. Blunt (in a very good way) and very imaginative.

This is really good! You can picture it in your head, but you have to use your imagination with it. I enjoyed this! Nice job!

Check out mine?
