Oh, God

Oh, God

A Poem by Eliza Pleasant
"

Eh, I was kinda bored, kinda sentimental. Enjoy!

"

My heart aches for love.

Of course I am loved.

But I'm not loved.

I want comfort.

Someone to protect me from Harm.

Someone to love.

Yes, I can stand on my own.

But I fear I won't find that One.

Oh, God, is there really true love?

This was like reading a prayer. It was really intimate and I applaud your courage to post something so heartfelt. Interesting capitalization of the word Harm and One, made me think a little bit. Hope you find "The One!" Though they often seem to find us when we least expect it. (But that's another poem). Very Nice write, keep up the good work.

Of course, there is true love, but it takes time to have it, sometimes it just won't happen. Very sentimental indeed, this writing of yours.
