OK, the only reason this... "work of art" is up here, is because of my sister. So give her a round of applause as my sister is debued with this...story. Enjoy.
I was walking home one night with my dog Buddha. As I was walking, a door appeared. I walked towards it and opened it. Something pulled me in. As soon as I got in everything was different. It looked like small city Lubbock but it wasn’t. Different me, sister, Mom, Dad, and friends. Even a different school. Here’s the weird part. Everything was made of food. The swings were made of Twizzlers and the slide was made of cereal. Oh, and the pool water was filled with soda. As soon as everything got sweet, everything turned bad. Everything disappeared. It was odd. I asked other sister. She said darkness was falling. The door disappeared and I was trapped. Other mother said I have till dawn. So I ate everything. When dawn came I was stuffed. When it was time to leave, I had to lie to escape my other family. I said I would come back to check on things. Thank gosh they believed me.
Very cute! For a nine year old, she's very creative (probably more creative than I was when I was nine). Just a little something for her, find and read "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs". That used to be my favorite book when I was a kid and now, it's gonna be a movie and this story totally reminded me of it! Anywho, tell her to keep it up!
Well, I would say this is brilliant for a kid to write such story. This is not a usual kid's story for today, however, this is just interesting. Your sister might have a very imaginative mind, and do nurture her well so she will be able to write more stories as her mind has pictured. Anyway, this story just reminded me of the story "Hansel and Gretel", except that she wasn't with another sibling, but seeing her 'different' family. Besides, I think every kid's mind is creative, except that they just don't know how to express them. Good write and keep it up! :)

I would love a pool filled with Dr. Pepper please! Very creative for nine! It had a plot line with a beginning, middle, and end; which is better than some writes I've read on the cafe. LoL Sweet descriptions. Please foster the story-telling talent you have there!
My dreams have taken a complete U-Turn. I still have a slight glimmer, a little bit showing that I want to write for a living. So, here's that glimmer.
I have lived a number of years that has offer.. more..
