Good-Bye

Good-Bye

A Poem by Literatureandthemind
"

For the people who doesn't know what "Stabbed me in the back" means, it means to betray or hurt someone. The phrase is an idiom.

"
You said you loved me,
But did you really?
Were those words just lies,
Did you really want to hurt me?
You stabbed me in the back,
It caused too much pain,
I just couldn't handle it,
It's over.
You and your little games are done.
No more hurt,
No more betrayal,
No more apologies.
It's to late,
You had your last chance.
Good-bye.

A lot of people can relate to this, i'd imagine everyone's felt this way at some point. It's a good portrayal of some of the emotions a person feels when they know they have to let someone go. It's simple and to the point, good job!

I like how you said it simply, and straight-forward. In this case it really gave it emphasis and so it was really good.
