Empty WardrobeA Poem by Tom Robert Cowpeywritten in 30minsthe arms on his chair are tatterd at torn his tattoos on his arm tell a story, the fading of ink and the aging of skin folded over like old oragami, he fought in the war with a sheild and a sword to protect what he called his family, now hes sat all alone sat alone at home not a visit at all hes lonely. recollecting the past looking at photographs wiping tears of his cheek with the dress she wore last hes got nothing to loose while hes watching the news he's disgraced at soicetys ways he polished his shoes finshed his 'booze and then wrote a note that states, 'i got bored of waiting, im very impatient but this rocking chairs making me weak, as i rock back and forwards watch--ing unimportant stories on the tv, i cant even hear it, and i lost the remote so i guess its time to go' as he packs his bag and puts on his hat the tablets start taking effect he lies in bed and holds on to the dress of his wife that should never have left.
