My IncubusA Poem by G. AndersonAs if suspended between melancholy and hate... weakened, drifting oh so nearer to my fate. You've been hurt, used, beaten and bashed...
This filthy nightmare. No other fear surpass.
Engulfed in seduction, wrapped in shame.. Hurrying, running, no one's to blame.
Heart frozen to those who've loved. The passion, caring, innocence--is gone. With black eyes to match a dark soul, and a golden crown, vibrant and bold... Crooked smile attached to you.
The Incubus.
Caressing, tracing, all when you're vulnerable. Praying with wide eyes to a God who never shows...
Just make this demon go away.
I haven't slept, Insomnia rampant. He takes advantage of you, as you slowly drift away.
Even sitting here, with numbess that overwhelms. He finds you, binds you, loves you.
You just want it to stop. To sleep without the devil forcing his child upon you.
You know you'd be trapped... you'd love that wretched antichrist to no avail.
and blackness and rigidity, fear, paralysis.
The Incubus himself. Overtaken, you are. Plunged into unknown.
As you scream and cry, try finding a way... Just a simple escape.
And there is none. © 2011 G. AndersonReviews
