Candle in the Darkness

Candle in the Darkness

A Poem by G. Anderson

Where the crickets commence
cadence and tweet, and the
dewdrops ever beads of sweet,
into your arms, me, I hope
you'll ever sweep.

The candle has been blown
down, my spirit left to
almost drown, until my light-
my love- your heart and mine,
forever bound <33

I will turn and swirl, and
try finding my way, until
you come, and your voice
will say:

Come my love, candle in the
darkness, let us float away...
