Its almost as if, she was there trying to meet with someone.
I approached her. Chest out, with confident walk? Check. I even Checked my breath for good measure. As i was walking up to her, she quickly shot eyes towards me, then slowly got up to leave. Leaving money and, what looked like trash, on the top of the bar. She left quite a bit of wine in her glass as well. Its been about a whole 30 minutes now since walking into my bar and i still haven't gotten a drink. Looking over, I see the bartender wiping down the spot the lady was sitting. I can see from where I now sat, that he clearly is missing the trash left by her. I got up to give it to the guy but he just turned away as I got there. Ive grown ill tempered and sick of waiting at this point. I slammed my hand down to see if the bartender was going to give into this ignoring scheme. Instead, thee entire bar area seemed to put no mind. So with the toss of my hands, I stormed out. Hey, in one hand, I saw that I saved money. Still some normal thought going on, and in the other hand; I just, realized i still have this crumble paper in. Today couldnt have gotten anymore weird. I stuffed the rubish in my jacket pocket and headed home. I wont lie, the whole way home, I checked every corner and face. I couldnt get that woman out my mind. That night was designed to focus on her. I'm just glad to be home. (End of chapter 1) © 2017 SuitedinPurpleAuthor's Note
