I really like the idea of the poem, and actually I really like the poem as well... It's just maybe a bit too much like it's fact and no feeling? Just a thought.

But still, I really like it. There is feeling behind it, it's just like it's missing a connection of a sort?... Nevertheless it's a great poem!

EDIT: I think I found the thing that makes it wrong for me, it's the 'on the dark side'. I don't think it's necessay, maybe too much tell instead of just showing it. (:
