I See

What is is I see when I see him?

So many things I see when I look at him.

Only a few make me smile.

 

I see everything I want and need in life just by looking into his eyes.

I see everything I love and adore and more in his smile.

 

I see the best thing that ever happened to me.

I see the rest of my life laid out before me.

 

I see two hearts beating as one when we are together.

I see us growing old and gray together, forever.

 

But above all that I see something that really stands out.

Its like it has a glow.

Just by a chance catching my eye.

 

I see love growing stronger as I write.

A spotted a small mistake on line 1, I'm sure if its either a mistaken repeated word or if it's meant to say, "What is it I see" Again it's a sweet poem, you write form the heart and as I read your poems I feel like I'm reading a story to your heart. It's a powerful feeling as I can connect to you and feel what you feel. You have a talent that only few can portray. Keep this up.
