Missing the Scratches

Missing the Scratches

A Poem by Courtney

The feeling of slipping
Back to habits past
My willpower ripping
Sanity to last

My mind, my soul, to purge
Comfort of the known
My thoughts inside to merge
Choice must be my own

Now I miss the scratches
Burning in my throat?
The urge ever latches
Memories to dote

Not for image yet I want this so
The control it gives when I let go

I somehow feel that poem is complete when the word Sanity is used ;-)
Short & interesting rhyming :)
I find boring to read the longer ones ;-)
I said so coz may be you too like straight forward people ;-)
