Night

Night

A Poem by Courtney

Oh the tranquility
Of a dark Summer's night
To be calm and collected
Relieved of all fright

Take away all the stress
Relax weary eyes
Open them wide
To the stars in the sky

Beauty of Night
Erase feelings of lore
Feelings of love
Replace those you abhor

Whenever you're down
Just want to let go
Remember the Night
When the world is slow

Beautiful...

The night has and always will be a very mysterious time. One must think of what roams and lurks where no one can see. Dangerous things await. Gives me shivers up my spine when I think of the bad in the night. A ray of sun pierces the darkness when I think of stars and pleasant cold. The feeling of the night on your forehead. Love that! Your poem conveyed it well! Nicely penned!

Of course!
I can relate to this poem. It makes me feel light. It is actually the same thing I would like to shout to free myself from all the stress. *Thumbs up*

Wow, thank you so much! That really means a lot, xx
A very nice piece. Smooth flow with a calming effect in it's energy. I would suggest on the first line of the fourth stanza to make is "you're". That way it doesn't look like a simple spelling error. =) But then again, you might have it that way on purpose..

Over all it's really good. Keep up the ink!
