Under the Bridge

Under the Bridge

A Poem by Courtney

Under the bridge
And out of sight
Away from the eyes
That long to take flight

Avoiding yet staring
Cannot look away
Beautiful Tragedy
Put on display

You hide your eyes
Peek through your fingers
You don't want to see
Yet your gaze lingers

Horrible to watch
And worse not to see
You try not to gawk
How hard can it be?

Stay away from they fray
Move away from the edge
Away from the eyes
And under the Bridge.

a lesson learned, The Bridge May Represent something like Peer pressure and the prying eyes those who expect you to cave in. The struggle to stay away ever trying to keep from falling into the trap. Again you have an uncanny way with words and you also have a lyrical prowess.
