School finally ended on an ok note. Our football team was basically undefeated which I am still proud of them for. I passed all classes with flying colors rumors had died down a little bit and I was doing better.
Summer was amazing. I went swimming every day and got a great tan like I always do. I had fun. A lot of fun. Just getting away from everything. It wasn’t all perks.. Don’t get me wrong.. My mom was experimenting with different medications and it scared me. I was scared to lose her again.. But there was a boy. Yes, a boy. He was cute in a rough exterior way. Dark skin and deep brown eyes that were so easy to get lost in. Rather beautiful. He helped me through a lot. We were close. He had been through a ton and I felt for him because I knew what he was going through. We became good friends very quickly. Texting every day and night. Calling each other while we watched the same show so we could laugh at it together. We got along, and I liked him. I liked him a lot, and I thought he liked me as well. He had told me I was cute and he was happy when we talked. I felt normal. At ease. I didn’t have to put on a front with him. He was so easy to talk to and open up to and he didn’t pity me. Which I loved. We were comfortable with each other. I fell for him.. Very hard to be honest. We were “official” soon enough. I had my very first boyfriend. I couldn’t have been happier. I thought I loved him and we would last forever. I loved him, and he felt the same. Right..?   ….
