Bound

Bound

A Poem by Lux
"

A short reflection of how I feel lately: strange and alone.

"

Wild wind sweeps through my limbs;

They are limp, I am listless.

Wild willows sway in the storm;

They are limp, I am listless.

Bring me the storm clouds

I so adore,

Let them chase away

The joyful sun.

Bring me the biting cold,

The bitter stare

Of a ill used lover,

Betrayed by time alone.

Reciept of the bitter glare

Relives my guilt.

My heart is listless, I am still.

My heart is cold.

I am bound to stand alone,

A swaying willow through a storm;

I am listless, I am cold,

I am alone.

Powerful writing. The beauty is that being strange, or weird should be a comfortable feeling but no one should feel alone.
