He Had Enough

He Had Enough

A Poem by Country Girl47
"

dedicated to a wonderful man, a marine, Clay Hunt, He just like some others had gone through a lot. He was 28 when he took his own life from the stress and pain that accord during his time served.

"

A soldier so strong and willing
To fight for our freedom over sea
The hell he had gone through,
Home is where he wanted to be

Storm had hit, clouds were formed,
When he came back here to be
Seemed like the storm had lasted
Forever, had seemed like eternity.

Just a lonely soldier, who couldn't
Deal with the memories from past
His life slowly began fading away
Decided to take his life that day

Family and loved ones,
will forever miss you,
but you will always stay in their heart,
Many great memories, that will never depart
