Too Obsessed

Too Obsessed

A Poem by Country Girl47
"

Better be careful and not be stuck on yourself.

"
She was so obsessed
with the mirror, too
She'd go over to it
stare at herself, avoid you.

Try to hide the mirror
defiant she would be
thinking she was
better then you or me

I jokingly told her
"I'm casting a spell
on you, what will
happen, I won't tell."

She got up the next day
looked in her mirror, when
all of a sudden, it cracked,
her face wasn't pretty then.

Her face had wrinkles,
she even looked old
she blamed me because
of the joke I had told

"It wasn't me," is what
I had even tried to say
didn't care and told me to
leave that very day.

Better be careful how
obsessed you are, too
A spell like this one
just may happen to you
