Jack and Jill's Mistake

Jack and Jill's Mistake

A Poem by Country Girl47
"

Jack and Jill didn't think before they made a mistake.

"
Jack and Jill went up the hill,
To fetch a pail of water.
Jill forgot her pill, yet fooled around,
Nine months later, had a baby daughter.

Because of the one mistake they made,
Taking care of the baby, took a lot of time
What were they going to do now?
They had no money, not even a dime.

Jack had taken responsibility
Got a job like he should.
Jill took care of the baby
Same way, you and I would.

Jack later got on his knee,
Proposed to his only true one.
Jill said she definitely would
Got married under the beautiful sun.

For every mistake we make,
There's always a price to pay.
Think before you go ahead
And have a baby today.
