Hope

Never give up hope.

Each of us have moments still today,
where we have had many turn away.
Made us wish our life was even through,
from being hurt and feeling betrayed, too.

Many times I've hit rock bottom,
just like many do,
I'd lost my hope and faith,
from the hell I have been through.

Sat there drowning in tears,
was living in fear,
til this country girls mind
at last, had been cleared.

If it wasn't for Christ coming to my rescue,
I wouldn't be here to even tell you,
He has restored my hope and faith,
wiped away the tears on my face.

This is why I am still alive today,
to tell those that feel the same way,
DON'T give up on yourselves, believe, too.
With Christ, faith and hope, you'll pull through.

I have found that the older I get, the more my relationship with Christ means to me - not just today but every day. Thank you for reminding us that with Christ, there is no reason to lose hope.
