What I Would Do

What I Would Do

A Poem by Country Girl46

If I had a $100 right now
To spend it, I'd know how
Take a trip and go away
Where I dream to stay.

That secret place I love to be
Where my mind can be free
Dont have to face reality
No enemies do I have to see

My eyes are finally dry from tears
I can live and breathe with no fear
Now in the right direction steered
The picture now is finally clear

An amazing sight there to see
The storm has finally left me
The wind blowing through trees
Sending a very nice cool breeze

By the pond is a bear, some deer
Walking this way, very, very near
Stop to take a lick of someone's beer
Then they take off in high gear

Now for the first time, I'd seen a buck
Dashing in and out so very drunk
Just a stag thinking he's a hunk
Til the doe chases him, full of spunk.

What those two do I don't care
Their life is happy and fair
Being here at my spot right where
I run to, with lots of things to share
