Angel of Mercy Appears

There along the road
Laid a man that was shot
No one cared to stop and help
Drove right past that spot
His life began to fold

An Angel of Mercy, sent his way
She pulled over, seen his blood there
Seeping through his tattered clothes
Wouldn't move him, she didn't dare
911 she called, weren't far away

She was a nurse for many years
Who cared so deeply for peoples lives
Born again believer at age tweny
Year later, she had been baptized.
She always had positive things to hear.

Man had asked who saved his life
He wanted to thank her that night
She was nowhere to be found
Angel of Mercy fit her just right
Saved a man going through strife

You just never know if some day
Some Angel you will get to meet
They do appear in human form
Could be someone down the street
Or someone passing through that way
