May your gentle words from within
Help someone who is down, begin to grin
May the writers words they hear
Make the message so clear
Welcome people who are new
Whether they live far or near, too

Dear Country Girl46

Congratulations on being new and achieving the mantle of 'Top Writer to Watch'

Often my reviews are long, But I will keep this one brief with a couple of bullet points:

1) You do a four line verse followed by one of eight lines. That is just stating the obvious. It is not a pointedly strict format. Who cares?

2) But what you do do is rhyme in couplets. Each line has a following rhyme. It gives the poem a certain flavour of calculation and thought.

3) Mornings: They are the beginning of a new chance to make an impact on life. I often use the following analogy. Every day we are granted a new gold coin to spend wisely.

4) In saying good morning to us all in a cheerful way you meet that purpose.

5) But you expand the general idea to helping others, specifically by writing. I can relate to that as can many on this website.

6) And you take it further by welcoming the new.

I am not sure how much meaning these words have to you but they a lot to me. I am a reader. You are the writer. I have a right to interpret you in my own way,

I never really had written that much before and because of my depression a, I had given up awhile ago. About a year and half ago I decided to pick up a pen and just it all my fears, shirt, and pain on a piece of paper and began to write.. The only thing I hope for, is that I definitely touch someone's life along the way, give them hope never to give up.
